this is an authentic 97" x 79" polar bear rug, The rug was done by the Jonas Brothers in Seattle WA Im assuming in the 1940's.The Rug is in good condition.There is some tearing on the left shoulder, Im sure it can be Resewn.I grabbed a handful of fur and tugged with no fall out.The underside padding could use a good cleaning.this is a rare find I was unsure of the legality of selling this rug, so I called the P.A. Game comission and was told that.any polar bear rug done prior to 1972 was legal to sell.I checked out the Jonas brothers and found that they sold their company to the Klineburger brothers in 1954.so this skin with a Jonas brothers tag was made before 1954.therefore is legal to sell or own.I will include a copy of this info along with a contact number of the officer I spoke with.
